The life of a rescuer is a constant battle. There is always an emergency. An animal in desperate need.
There
are always supporters begging for that specific animal to be saved. But
once they are saved their costs are forgotten and Edina faces another
hard task.

It
has been an exceptionally busy month, with many emergencies for Edina
Pasic, with many low moments. Edina has carried on knowing that some of
her poor defenceless animals have had their chance and escaped Bosnia
for a happy life with families who will love them. Remember poor timid
Elvis? He is settling in his new home with his sister Abbie and parents
in the UK wonderfully, he has even allowed his 'dad' to stroke him. Or
dear old Major? Who is learning how to relax in his new home, finding
his feet and allowing his mom to be his eyes and ears while making
himself at home on his special armchair (he is a special needs dog).
These
wonderful 'happy ever afters', these achievements spur Edina on, the
knowledge that these lives are being changed forever. However, during
the dark moments where the emergencies prove so fatal there is no hope,
or sweet puppies are at the brink of death then relapse and loose
battles, these are times when the world is a questionable place for
Edina.
September is here and funds are needed to keep
Edina's 19 Dogs and 19 cats safe. Can you help a wonderful rescuer keep

Have you ever been to Sarajevo? Have you ever looked at pictures of Sarajevo?
Look at just this city.. Sarajevo sits in a river valley, 56 miles long... Besides
the rural areas, where they also feed they strays.
Edina
needs gas money.... they use about 10.00 euro per day that they go out and feed
the strays..

What most of us who have never been there have a hard time understanding is the level of poverty, unemployment, and helplessness the people there must go through daily. Edina's husband
Aldin has a job, but these funds support the family.
