Most people are not evil, but most are so involved in their own lives; they do not see evil!

Celine in one of her interviews, talks about Rene's use of the words I love you, and the first time she heard him say I love you to his mother; She realized how much she was missing by not acknowledging the words I love you - to all her family and changed then and there. In this interview she says the world needs to acknowledge love for each other, that is the only way that there will be true peace.

I agree it is the only thing that will change the world we live in... When you can accept that you love others outside your bubble, then and only then will you see the evil in the world and work to change it.

When you see Evil being done, you must intervene. You must stop it.  In so doing you are taking a step to changing  the world.

Love of our fellow beings, Love of others outside our bubbles, is what rescuing is..and when you rescue....

YOU CHANGE THE WORLD!

I'm not the faithful Christian some people claim to be.. But I know somewhere in the bible it says,

"WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO THE LEAST OF THESE - YOU HAVE DONE UNTO ME"

That is telling me we are supposed to help each other, HELP THE OTHER BEINGS CREATED BY GOD,  THAT IS WHAT RESCUING IS..

Consider donating your time and energy to your local shelter (USA) or pension (Europe). Money is not the only thing needed. The more you expose the cruelty of treatment in shelters, by showing love and caring for the animals, the sooner change for the good will occur...  There is change when exposed to love.

Most of the time, change for good comes slowly and change that is harmful happens in the blink of an eye....  BUT WE MUST TRY OR CHANGE WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

REMEMBER IN THIS WORLD  where we have a choice REMEMBER TO DO GOOD WHEN EVER YOU CAN!

This is a Shelter in Serbia that is worth looking at....these poor dogs would have already died, been placed in shelters to be killed and Dejan Gacic has saved them.....but to feed these dogs weekly is a task and there are days the dogs only eat every other day...and old food, bread is mixed with dry dog food to assist in feeding them. This is when we are asking if you can sponsor one dog per month....for 25 euro/$27.00 usd per month....please look at these beautiful faces and if you can sponsor one, please let me know or contact Chris Eddy. We can make this happen and these dogs are so beautiful and so loved....they have a 2nd chance now - where there was no hope for them at all....Please help and please share.....

A Mother's Walk

 The young mother set her foot on the path of life. "Is this the long way?" she asked. And the guide said: "Yes, and the way is hard. And you will be old before you reach the end of it. But the end will be better than the beginning." But the young mother was happy, and she would not believe that anything could be better than these years. So she played with her children, and gathered flowers for them along the way, and bathed them in the clear streams; and the sun shone on them, and  the young Mother cried, "Nothing will ever be lovelier than this." 

Then the night came, and the storm, and the path was dark, and the children shook with fear and cold, and the mother drew them close and covered them with her mantle, and the children said, "Mother, we are not afraid, for you are near, and no harm can come." And the morning came, and there was a hill ahead, and the children climbed and grew weary, and the mother was weary. But at all times she said to the children, "A little patience and we are there." I have been begging for about 5 years now, maybe more. Day after Day, hour after hour seeing the crys for help coming out of Eastern Europe.  Knowing that if no one helps another being will die. I'm even crying here while writing.. I'm so angry at myself for not being stronger. 

Why doesn't anyone ...SOMEONE -- help these rescues in Eastern Europe. Now that isn't really fair, because many many people who have nothing, do help as much as possible! But it isn't enough.. Day after Day animals die of hunger, sickness, cruelty, Many different things That we who really care can do nothing about without money.  

Yes my desperation is money. I have never cared about material things, what can they give you? Nothing..A false attitude that your better then the next cause you have all this stuff... but if I had money I could help more... LOL I'd still be broke but it would not matter..because another life would be saved.

It seems like every rescue in the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina is asking for help. I really don't understand this country. They are not a generation or two from the devastating war they had neighborhood against neighborhood..Families being almost completely wiped out.. They still hate one another.. and yet they say they want to help the animals. But let one person from a different ethnic group do better then someone else and the hateful stories start.  The person doing good gets accused of not using the money for rescues. The people spreading these stories don't care that the animals will suffer... just that they hurt the other person, because of hate!

Then people like me who don't live there. Stop helping because we believe the person who told us they were cheating... My case is a little different. A dear friend went to Eastern Europe, Sarajevo was one stop she met the people I support and gave me a report on them and how they rescue.  So I continue to donate to them, even when the haters tells actual lies about them.

But it gets harder and harder to raise the funds for keeping the animals rescued from the streets safe..hatefull words have a tendency to spread like a wild brush fire in dry grass and brush...and it stops people who don't know better from helping..this makes me so depressed.. I feel like a failure.

This rescue gathers money, food, blankets, beds any item needed and takes them to the little rescues that with out her have very little help, if any.

 

Miska Oksanen, an animal lover from Finland.  For years we have been collecting donations and donated money, food, medication and everyday necessities for varies organisations and private people who help homeless and less fortunate cats and dogs all around the world. 

This site was created to organise collective supply and fundraising and to make it easier for people to donate. We know how hard it is to choose who to help because there are so many in need and there is also a danger that the donation does not reach the animal. All of the people we work with are 100 % trustworthy and all of the donations through us go straight to the animals.
