There are so many things to be done at the moment but food is critical and the highest possible priority. So many dogs eat dozens of kilos of food and I must pay it before tomorrow's delivery...

I'm worried
Tomorrow I have yo go to Columbia, Missouri to the VA hospital.
I have surgery on thursday to close a hernia in my stomic. My intestines are bulgeing out and the hernia must be closed.  tomorrow I have a bunch of tests.

So what am I worried about...

Donations to Dalida Kozlic for food for the animals.. I will not be posting much either days and am worried = will you HELP HER! or will they go hungry..
 
We can't let them go hungry...if everyone thinks the next person will help.. then there will not be any money...please!!!

Dalida Kozlic is a lawyer from Sarajevo who has been involved in protection of animals for more than 15 years and she is one of the rescuers and activists with most experience in Bosnia.
Dalida and her parents take care of 134 rescued dogs and 10 cats and this is set up to help them to buy food and pay "pension" (kennel) costs as well as veterinary costs for dogs and cats that have been saved from horrors of Bosnian streets and pounds. Sarajevo, is a city in Bosina and Hezergovina, Eastern Europe.

Also, Dalida was one of the lobbyists who were involved in legislating of Animal Protection and Welfare Act in Bosnia, in 2009. Dalida investigates cases of animal abuse, as well as cases of obstructions to implement Animal Protection and Welfare Act. Her activities are focused on enforcement of the Animal Protection and Welfare Act, presenting practical legal solutions in animal welfare area, collecting of evidences, filing criminal reports, and constant lobbying that Bosnian authorities implement the Animal Protection and Welfare Act. Dalida also acts as a liason with international animal welfare advocates.
She follows all activities of police, the prosecutor's office, and veterinary inspectors, in order to prosecute and punish people who torture and kill animals. She also participates in media debates about animal welfare.

The most important thing is to keep Dalida's rescues safe, fed, healthy, off the streets, and away from the illegal dog catchers until they are adopted.

Is an animal rescue in  the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Eastern Europe. It is run by

Edina Pasic, a person who truly loves helping stray animals. I have known her about 6 years now and I am amazed by how much she cares for the animals she rescues from the streets.

Like all rescues in Eastern Europe, it is hard to find people to help. The money to pay for the bills... like a warm place to live, (referred to as a pension) VET care, Food, travel fees if a home is found, must come from donations from all of us who care!

The rate of the unemployed is one of the worst in the world... We who donate must know who we are helping. there are some people who say they help animals and just pocket the money sent..But a friend of mine while visiting in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia  and Herzegovina; investigated several  rescues to insure  funds were being used for the animals. Edina was one who passed with flying colors. My friend was impressed with how much Edina cared for all the strays. She even crys when an injured or sick animal can not be saved. She is teaching her son to be kind to them.

BUT HELPING THE STRAYS COSTS LOTS OF MONEY....MONEY NO RESCURER IN EASTERN EUROPE HAS. THEY DEPEND ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA GROUPS... and PEOPLE LIKE US.
