Is an animal rescue in the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Eastern Europe. It is run by
Edina Pasic, a person who truly loves helping stray animals. I have known her about 6 years now and I am amazed by how much she cares for the animals she rescues from the streets.
Like all rescues in Eastern Europe, it is hard to find people to help. The money to pay for the bills... like a warm place to live, (referred to as a pension) VET care, Food, travel fees if a home is found, must come from donations from all of us who care!
The rate of the unemployed is one of the worst in the world... We who donate must know who we are helping. there are some people who say they help animals and just pocket the money sent..But a friend of mine while visiting in Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina; investigated several rescues to insure funds were being used for the animals. Edina was one who passed with flying colors. My friend was impressed with how much Edina cared for all the strays. She even crys when an injured or sick animal can not be saved. She is teaching her son to be kind to them.
BUT HELPING THE STRAYS COSTS LOTS OF MONEY....MONEY NO RESCURER IN EASTERN EUROPE HAS. THEY DEPEND ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA GROUPS... and PEOPLE LIKE US.
